Emily Ovesen is a singer-songwriter from the Lowell area whose love stems from emotional connection through song. With inspiration coming from 60’s and 70’s folk, to soft electronic, to indie rock. Mowesby & the Northern Flicker creates thoughtful, genuine, contemporary folk songs. Mowesby's music transports listeners into a world where syncopated rhythms weave through emotive vocals, creating a sense of intimacy and engagement between the artist and his audience. Folk-rocker Wallace Field rises like a phoenix from the metaphorical ashes of a breakup and the literal ashes of a house fire with her debut album “All Costs,” out now.
