“The Rock Critic in me wants to say something like 'In the annals of heretofore undiscovered cool music towns Athens and Austin once followed in the footsteps of Memphis and Nashville. Now Asheville Noth Carolina is somehow the up and coming cool town. While no one has ever yet mentioned Bozeman Montana in this context, it has a storied small-town-rock history all its own.
