Ukulele Death Squad

After an incredible 2023 European Tour, Ukulele Death Squad are back to revisit one of their favourite audiences - Brotfabrik! The Ukulele Death Squad is a 7-piece, energetic folk band with Tarantino influences from Adelaide, Australia. Their unconventional approach to the ukulele has captivated audiences worldwide since its inception in 2017. Their debut in Adelaide and at the Edinburgh Fringe were named Best Music Act of the Adelaide Fringe (2018). Their eclectic music borrows from various genres: flamenco, ska, folk, jazz, pop and rock – with a good dose of black humour. They combine "hardcore" ukulele with rich vocal harmonies, stomping rhythms, outrageous solos and sensual saxophone. The Adelaide group's live shows are so raucous that they smash not only strings, but also ukuleles.
