Après 2 albums, un EP, des collaborations prestigieuses (Keren Ann, Juliette Armanet, Herman Dune, Gaëtan Roussel), Lewis Evans a sorti son troisième album "L'Ascension" mi-mai 2022 chez ZRP. Enfant de Liverpool, normand d'adoption, Lewis Evans charpente ses chansons intimistes comme autant de tubes, une science inspirée du songwriting de Leonard Cohen, des épopées d'Echo and The Bunnymen ou des hymnes d'Oasis. Un album plaisir et envoûtant enregistré dans une frénésie joyeuse avec sa bande.
