Lost Post Biography
Lost Post are an alt-country trio, formed by Arkansas-forged frontman and guitarist Brandon Otto; Romani bassist Niki Balazs; and Southampton-born lap steel, banjo, and harmonica player A.M. Davis. The band draw on the rich storytelling elements of both old-time American and traditional English music, woven into a unique blend of foot-stomping country, swampy blues and delicate folk music.
Last year saw Lost Post gigging relentlessly, including playing to a packed-out crowd on the acoustic stage at Wickham Festival and opening for Skinny Lister at Southampton’s Engine Rooms. They’ve been building a growing fanbase since releasing their debut single ‘Charlotte’ in January last year (for which they were interviewed on BBC Radio Solent) and their new EP ‘Hope (and All Its Promise)’ later in September, which was also featured on BBC Introducing. They’re currently preparing to head into the studio to record the band’s first full-length album, which you can expect to find in all the usual places later this year.
