Hey, I’m Colin Roberts and I am The Everyman…
“In literature and drama, the everyman is an ordinary individual with whom the audience or reader is supposed to be able to identify easily and who is often placed in extraordinary circumstances.”

By this definition, Colin Roberts is an Everyman. He is down to earth and honest in his writing. He’s been through challenges in his life, like most everyone, and yet he is what people would consider ordinary. His writing is from the heart, taking an introspective and observational viewpoint with his lyrics. He enjoys writing about the things that are important in life, while at the same time trying to tackle the nuances of everyday living.

Colin is a Nebraska based singer / songwriter, who has been performing his entire adult life. He grew up in rural Nebraska, went to college in South Dakota, and now lives outside of Omaha.

Colin’s sound is what you would get if you crossed the beautiful soulful vocal range of Chris Stapleton with the raw real-life songwriting of Bruce Springsteen. His musical interests span nearly every genre including Americana, Alternative, Folk, Country, Rock, and Pop. Some of his greatest musical influences include (in no particular order) Jason Isbell, BJ Barham, Ruston Kelly, The Lumineers, The Head and the Heart, Chris Stapleton, U2, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, and the list goes on.
