About this concert
Het provocerende kwartet Oxbow uit San Francisco ontstond eind jaren ’80 rond zanger Eugene Robinson, gitarist Niko Wenner, bassist Dan Adams en drummer Greg Davis. De groep combineerde de bui van bands als de Birthday Party met elementen van free jazz en musique concrète en debuteerde in 1990 met Fuckfest, in 1992 gevolgd door King of the Jews.

Oxbow Biography
Oxbow is a long-lived Avant-Garde band out of San Francisco, California that is notable for their prolific touring and unique sound. Oxbow plays a blend of Noise Rock, Experimental Jazz and Musique Concrete (AMG), that creates caustic soundscape with constant overtones of paranoia and revulsion.
