The Jazzaldia or San Sebastian Jazz Festival was founded in 1966, it is the oldest jazz festival in Spain and one of the oldest in Europe. The Jazzaldia hosts around a hundred concerts on stages across the city, some are free and others are ticketed; and some are in the open air (beach, squares, parks...) and some others are indoors (theatres, museums, auditoriums...).
