zahn

Berlin-based experimental trio ZAHN have been making waves with their intense, driving sound that echoes the relentless march of a world on the edge. Consisting of Chris Breuer (Heads., ex–The Ocean), Nic Stockmann (Heads., ex–Eisenvater) and Felix Gebhard (Muff Potter, live–Einstürzende Neubauten, live–Tocotronic), ZAHN are exploring new creative territory, regardless of the bands they are known for. Their latest album PURPUR offers a bold escape from everyday life through vivid sonic landscapes that blend Krautrock, Dark Jazz, Noise Rock, Post-Punk, Post-Rock and Electronic Music — a lush fusion of heaviness, electronics and hallucinatory color. ZAHN delivers a raw, visceral experience, challenging the status quo without saying a single word.
