DJ & multi-instrumentalist producer, Alexander Morris, recognized better as Distant Matter, is making waves in the music world with his captivating electronic-pop sound. Influenced by and receiving support playing alongside the likes of Rufus Du Sol, Zedd, Loud Luxury, and more, Distant Matter has made a name for himself across North America.
Since starting his DJ project in 2021, Distant Matter has amassed over 4 million streams on original tracks while sharing stages with world-renowned artists including Post Malone, The Kid Laroi, Bryce Vine, and more.
Distant Matter's meteoric rise in the electronic music scene is undeniable, with recent plays in Summer ‘23 on the mainstage at two of Canada’s biggest music festivals, VELD (Toronto, ON) and Escapade (Ottawa, ON), as well as the iconic Brooklyn Mirage in NYC to a sold-out 6,000+ person crowd.
