Al Holliday and The East Side Rhythm Band Biografie
From in between East St. Louis, and the middle of nowhere - out in Illinois.
So it sounds like its supposed to.
"It doesn't take too long
coming across the river before it opens up and truth be told maybe we all are a little Country over here."
This is a band that will defy simple categories, but they definitely have a thing - and they do it with a feeling
10 men and women (when we are lucky) virtually all long time members , we have earned a reputation of a big sounding band
Maybe the closest thing we have found on our family tree is Delaney and Bonnie and Friends
We try, in our own way, to carry on the traditions and spirit of our region as well as the greater story of music in our time - hallelujah
