Since 2014, the quartet has been carving out a name for itself in and around Central Hessen. April Art is energetic, melodic and unmistakable. From the first moment when they got together and started the band, it was clear to everyone that the band would take precedent over everything else and take on a central role for everyone and everything. They wanted to live the band life where nothing is more important than sharing their music and honing their skills live on stage with the goal of picking up as many fans as they go. April Art: powerful, emotional, modern rock music with an honest passion and drive because they have something to say that is worth listening too.

On stage is where their rock talents truly shine: April Art’s live performances are always a mean full throttle. With excellent and virtuoso guitar work, Chris Bunnell decisively shapes the modern and emotional sound of the band. Front-woman Lisa-Marie Watz, who performs with her charismatic rough voice to the verge of complete exhaustion, creates an intimacy with their audience by always keeping the crowd involved in their shows. On drums, Ben Juelg provides a loud and aggressive drum sound that is moulded by musical grooves and crisp fills. The band's sound is rounded off by bassist Julian Schuetze, who not only delivers the sound foundation, but also fresh, funky bass lines that make him an unmistakable part of the band.
