Clan of Xymox

The club is rather nice, with a bar I haven't really cared to use and some armchairs to chill out on :) Very good sound - that includes the venue and the band :) Plenty of space in the cloakroom and fairly fast attendants, although the queue was to be expected.

Super sold out concert. They played an over 2 hours set , including many classics. A night well worth going !

Band was on point but no one in the whole crowd could hear Ronny's vocals. Turn your mic up, dude, you've only been doing this for 40 odd years

Great show with two opening acts, started with Curse Mackey, followed by Bellwether Syndicate. They covered a good range of their catalogue. Ronny hung out at the merch table to meet his fans and get pictures. I got mine taken with him and Sean. I love how this band makes themselves so accessible to their fans. The DNA Lounge does have a decent sound system, so the show sounded pretty good. The venue also has decent air flow so it doesn't turn in to a sweat lodge like some other places can. It also has an onsite pizza counter so you can get your grub right there. Parking is decent there on a week night. I was actually able to park by the Costco on the next block, no problem. The only thing I didn't like was that they wouldn't let me bring my bottled water in to the main area for some reason.

Great show all around that covered a good chunk of their catalogue from 1984 to 2020. I was hoping to hear Lockdown played live from the Limbo album. A few songs from that I think would have sounded great live from that album also would have been the title track, Limbo, and How Long. However, I think the highlight of this show was their live performance of She from their 2020 album, Spider on The Wall. The energy all around was just amazing. Over all, this is the best venue I have seen Clan of Xymox play, and the sound quality was great. Staff was friendly and the venue was very clean. Terrific opening acts with A Cloud of Ravens and Curse Mackey, who is well on his way to becoming a headlining act. I can't wait for their next USA tour. Can't come soon enough.

They went deep with some rare tracks, hope you stayed for the encores. There were several.

Excellent show. A long satisfying set. And Curse Mackey did a nice job on his opener set.

Throughly enjoyed the show and the two support artists, A Cloud Of Ravens and Curse Mackey. It was worth the trip from the U.K. to see them!!

The show was fantastic! The only reason I gave a 4.5 start instead of 5 is because we were really looking forward to hearing at least of couple of their older songs like, “Evelyn” and “Obsession.” But they were outstanding!!🎶

Great show. The sounded fantastic. The opening acts, The Bellweather Syndicate, and Bellhead were really great as well.

Great show in a cool venue but someone needed to open an effing window. It was really hot and there wasn't enough circulation. Ronny mentioned it like 3 times and no one did anything.

There were technical difficulties but the performers were all awesome, didn’t know Vosh before seeing them open for Clan but they impressed me. A great night to be goth.

Excellent show. Xymox expects quality from themselves and of everyone behind the scene for their audience. They also expect the audience to indulge themselves with the moment and enjoy the show. Perfection!

The sound they produce live is even better than recorded. It needs LOUD. Your chest cavity vibrates & it’s captivating. Their interaction with the crowd is perfect too. They’re humble, self-effacing. Ronnie is so charismatic but the rest of the band now add to him perfectly. They’re almost unaware of just how cultish & pioneering they’ve been. I love the displayed loyalty - two way. You feel a part of it. You feel they are your secret. & you love thinking I’m amongst just this crowd who also love them - & I’m almost glad they’re a bit of a secret. Our secret. It’s just emotional immersing yourself in Xymox, their personalities & the sound they make. So many anthems. Such a unique sequenced synth dance bass vibe with raw guitar & clever, meaningful lyrics. Someone asked me to describe them. A bit New Order, a bit Sisters of Mercy/the Mission & a bit The Cure. But you hear some Foxx, Numan, Joy Division, X-Mal Deutschland ... & more. Pure 4AD! They are a unique experience to see live. Gothic marvels. & I love the look of the people who follow them. It’s a long term love affair.

The show was incredible! This was a bucket list concert for me as they don't tour the US very often. Musically, they were perfect. The only negative is that the venue was very hard to find, even with Google.

Awesome! Such great atmosphere and music leading up to the concert in the intimate Musica. Cocktails from the bar were superb. Bellwhether Syndicate, the opener, may be a new, favorite group of mine! Clan of Xymox was on point! Played a lot of hits and one "oldie." Every song was sublime. Even played an encore. My only gripe was that the security was lax compared to other venues.

Fan-freaking-tastic!! 90 minute set, performing the hits new and old. Ronny is a very interactive front man, made for a wonderful show

Ronnie always fills sonic space with the right instrument and right sound. They were tight.
