Ewout Pierreux

Tutu Puoane walked around with the collection of poetry In A Ribbon Of Rhythm by her South African compatriot Lebogang Mashile for just under a decade. The poems made a deep impression on her, and every time she read them, she heard music. Based on her favorites, she wrote a bunch of new songs, together with her partner-in-life-and-in-music, pianist Ewout Pierreux. The result is the new album Wrapped In Rhythm.
