Perhaps the definition of les enfants terribles and drawing comparisons to contemporaries like Gojira, Meshuggah, and Mastodon, Hammerhedd blend genres into a perfect sludge of chugging, grinding, beating, and thrashingly heavy marches favoring driving rhythms with a tinge of melodic mischief.
