Mary Todd

Formed in Fall 2012, Mary Todd consists of three southern transplants/functioning degenerates hailing from Brooklyn, NY; Chris Day (Bass/Vox), Josh Harris (Drums), and Ashley Levine (Guitar/Vox) (aka "Chabois!"). As fiends of exceptionally abrasive, groovy, and experimental musical compositions, Mary Todd has had the opportunity to share the stage with many incredible, heavy bands in NYC's underground music scene over the past year-and-a-half. The band released their debut EP Scraping the Bottom of the Barrel in the Fall of 2014, which was recorded and mixed by Ben Rice at Degraw Sound, and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music. Chabois are influenced by positive energy, and the bowels of hell (and certain herbal remedies) in general, and by speedo walks on the beach and beer sweats in particular.
