Gretchen Rhodes

Gretchen is always amazing! She has one of the most powerful and evocative voices in music today and the concert was fabulous. However…..shame on the parents who thought it was in any way acceptable to let - in fact encourage - their ~4 year old to run the length of the floor level stage over & over & over again to leap into Daddy arms, squealing! There was a nearly empty lobby immediately behind the venue that would have done for such monkey business. Home would have been better yet! Such bad manners that takes into consideration NO ONE else’s comfort or enjoyment seems to be a hallmark of this particular generation of parents. Have they never heard of babysitters? Gretchen and the fantastic band made for a lovely evening despite the nuisance family.
