Cody Johnson is an American country music singer and songwriter. Born on May 21, 1987, in Sebastopol, Texas, Cody Johnson has carved his own path in the music industry, defying odds and staying true to his roots. From humble beginnings playing in local venues to selling out arenas across the United States, Cody Johnson's journey is a testament to the power of raw talent and unwavering dedication.
Cody Johnson self-released six albums, including "Cowboy Like Me" (2014) and "Gotta Be Me" (2016), before releasing his first major-label album, “Ain't Nothin' to It” (2019). “Ain't Nothin' to It” skyrocketed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums and all-genre Digital Sales charts. He also re-recorded one of the project’s standout tracks, “Dear Rodeo,” as a powerful duet alongside country music icon, Reba McEntire. The song inspired his autobiographical documentary “Dear Rodeo: The Cody Johnson Story.” In 2021, he released his sophomore major-label release, “Human The Double Album.”
