Ian Roland

Songwriter, Ian Roland, and arranger-composer, Simon Yapp, produce unique Roots, Contemporary Folk music, full of heart-strung orchestration and up-close, life-drenched lyrics. They work from Subtown Studios, in Brighton, UK, with other local musicians joining them for sessions and gigs.

Since 2015, when Ian and Simon started performing live as a duo, the group have supported acts such as Martin Simpson, The Black Feathers, Stick In The Wheel, TV Smith, Boo Hewerdine, Robb Johnson, Robert Vincent.
