The Longshots- Cracking old school RnB, with a 1960s garagey vibe in places but more of a mid 70?s Pub rock thing taking a kine from the Feelgoods back to Ducks Deluxe etc. Rebel Aces ? Slap bass, skittering drums and twangsome guitars?these Rebels be Rockabilly baby? playing covers from Elvis to Stray Cats, right thru to rockabilly versions of songs by other artists from T-Rex to Depeche Mode They can certainly do it well, Ace indeed. Foxpalmer ? Foxy Fleetwood Mac type mature pop fare- or maybe Haim? Anyway, soft focus rock pop with soulful diva vox is the way of the fox. Cunning sassy styling. Little Storping In The Swuff? Psychedelic folky pop, lovely shades of Syd Barret but also techy, urbane pop sounds, a bit like Momus.
