Asleep at the Wheel

Last uk festival performance , just as good as the first one in 1977 ! These guys turned the red rooster into a honky tonk ! Great live show, Ray Benson still kickin' Ass !!!!

I really enjoyed both groups. The customer service line was extremely slow and I found it a bit silly that you had to have a clear bag. My bag was opaque and no one even looked in it. It seemed like a whole lot of hoopla for nothing The concert was fantastic and the weather was perfect

Fantastic! Ray Benson never fails to, and his supporting cast, as always, produces. Great Bob Wills tribute. I hear this is their last touring year, so I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it.

Ray Benson's voice seems strong as ever (I first saw him / Asleep at the Wheel back in 1973); the group is as good as ever... some differences, certainly, but music great as ever ! Shows great band leadership, and appreciation of the music by all with the band, great now as always. Bravo!!!

Outstanding show as always. Some of the Christmas numbers were totally unexpected but they were absolutely amazing! I saw Asleep at the Wheel the first time in 1975 and Ray’s voice is just as good now as it was then. Plus, the band and backup vocals were spot on. If you get a chance to see them, don’t mis it!!!

Best concert I've been to in I don't know how long! The venue is smaller, which I love, because ALL the seats are Great! Asleep at the Wheel was awesome! They played about 2 hours non-stop. They sounded exactly like they do on records and CDs...and that is rare these days. Ray was fabulous... Very funny and very entertaining the whole time. Can't wait to go see them again if they come back there.

A@TW + symphony was fun for all. Band was good symphony in the groove too. Good to see seasoned, relaxed performers who know how to play AND put on a good show..

It was fantastic. Ray Benson sounded amazing, not to mention how talented he and the rest of the band are. If you ever get to go you will not regret it one bit. One of the best live shows you will ever see!

What a great event! Hats off to Michael Hearne and all others who help him put on this music festival. First class all the way and very organized event. The venue was perfect, and mother nature cooperated with beautiful weather. Asleep at the Wheel is always great, but the other bands we heard before them were awesome as well. I've been waiting for years to see these guys, and they did not disappoint, they must have played, what sounded like 100 songs, the guys played there instruments like superman, and I feel like a lucky guy to have seen these guys in person, super show at the fabulous, Buck Owen's, crystal palace, in Bakersfield 😊

The band was great. Top notch musicianship, great songs and arrangements as well as sound in the venue. These folks are fabulous entertainers and musicians. If you're reading this review and have a chance to see this band , do it. The Stoughton Opera House is a wonderful old theater and a perfect venue to see a show. Thank you to all for the show last night. It was fun.

Asleep at the Wheel is one of the best live shows you will ever attend. This one did not disappoint. Both special guests came on with the Wheel, they took turns singing each others songs and singing together. ATTW had several new musicians playing but they didn't miss a beat. They all seemed to enjoy entertaining and playing together. My only negative was it didn't last as long as I would have liked! You can not beat Western Swing music and Asleep at the Wheel is the best. The Uptown was looking great, it's a really nice venue. I'm glad I was in attendance! Ray said they hadn't played there since 1983, and I was at that show with my Dad. This time I went with my oldest daughter. My son was also there with his kids!

Great show. Audio was great, lighting was great, and as always, Asleep at the Wheel's performance was awesome. Extra bonus was that a lot of the band members came over to the Track 5 bar at the Casino where the Brazos Valley Boys were playing, so we had a chance to share the dancefloor and get a few two-steps in with them. I've been to at least six Asleep at the Wheel concerts since 1985, and they never disappoint.

Asleep At The Wheel with Brennen Leigh & Joshua Hedley were absolutely amazing. Have seen them before and they just get better & better. They sing one some after another with little talking. No politics or opinions, just music. They are the best Western Swing group out there!! Should be mandatory that all students studying music see them at some point. Amazing show!!!

Absolutely fabulous. Asleep at the Wheel's high energy, excellent musicianship, and soaring harmonies had folks dancing in the aisles. they may have been on the road for more than half a hundred years, but they have honed their performance to perfection. We loved it from start to finish, and they left us wishing for more. Well done.

I have wanted to see Asleep at the Wheel since I was a teenager. I will say it was worth the decades of waiting!! They are all talented musicians individually...but combined are mind-blowing. Ray Benson sounds phenomenal and is a true entertainer.

Absolutely wonderful performance! Ray and the band started playing promptly at 10pm and without a break kept playing til 11:45.!! They played all my favorites. Great dance tunes. I listen to Asleep at the Wheel every day at my home. The entire night was fun and the crowd loved their music. We are planning to attend Gruene Hall in April for another fabulous night of the Wheel music. Maybe Dale can join Ray for "Feelin' Haggard" and "Ballad of Dale and Ray" !! Ha! Great night!

Love Ray Benson's voice and the rest of the band, particularly the two fiddles were fantastic! Stoughton Opera House is a terrific venue! So glad they can book such top quality artists!

Bob Wills Is STILL THE KING, and Asleep at the Wheel is still the best damned Texas Swing band. Great show in Sellersville last night! We also dug the Howlin' Brothers.
