About this concert
Adam Hall, an accomplished Trumpeter, Vocalist, Composer was born and raised in Perth in Australia.He began playing Trumpet in 1990 at the age of ten, and later studied the craft at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA. The band’s repertoire is rooted in the Jazz and Rhythm & Blues music of the 40’s and 50’s, from artists such as Ray Charles, FrankSinatra, Louis Prima, Sammy Davis Junior, Harry Connick Junior, Jackie Wilson, Chuck Berry andThe Blues Brothers.

Mark Turner Biography
Mark Turner captivates by bringing his unique warmth to familiar styles of blues, folk, soul, and groove. Performing regularly as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and saxophonist, Mark delivers heartfelt lyrics, roaring guitar, and natural vocals with charm.
After a decade performing with WA talents such as Adam Hall and the Velvet Playboys, Jessie Gordon, the Darling Buds of May, DJ Fdel and the Perth Cabaret Collective, and performing at major festivals in Belgium, Germany, Singapore, and Australia, Mark has recently released an enchanting original debut, “Made For Us”.
Mark has won four music awards and one cabaret award at Perth Fringe World Festival and, in his debut year as a songwriter, was nominated for a WAMi Song of the Year award and semi-finalist in the Unsigned Only competition.
