The legend of the Plurthlings begins in a stadium full of lights. Two soul surfers meet at the last rave ever, and discover a key to the mystery of a lost supercontinent. Will they find their way back home? How will they explain what they discovered? Will they succeed in time to save the planet and unite the parallel dimension of Plurth?

These are the questions that inspire the Plurthlings daily. Monsoon & Kahu are a creative force of nature. They produce dance music that coincides with a revolving storyline for a future movie screenplay. Their stories feature a cast of intriguing characters, exotic locales, and suspenseful events. Their songs take you into a world of diverse texture, rhythm and melody.

Every time the Plurthlings create a new song, a portal opens to the mystical land of Plurth. They can ride these portals like lightning, capturing their energy with holographic vision cubes. With a bit of magic, these portals become fabric for all-over rave apparel. This allows fans to “wear their favorite songs” and be part of the story too.

The Plurthlings hold space for a new vibe, a place where people can feel a part of the tribe again. Their contagious rave spirit sets the foundation for art that goes far beyond the duality of mainstream versus underground. They design experiences that unite people together at festivals, clubs and pool parties. They provide transformational journeys for fans by combining unadulterated fun with professional skills.

They blend electronic dance music with classic rock, reggae, hip-hop and pop. They dedicated themselves to learning techniques from well-over 30 genres, including Electro, Progressive, Trance, Tribal, Glitch, Future, Techno and more. This gives them the ability to DJ a wide range of sonic textures, into one cohesive, signature sound.

They weave their live sets through diverse feelings and waves of positivity. They evolve the rhythms around the audience’s emotions to build a synergistic bond. You will dance to beats like Dubstep, Trap, Hardstyle, Juke, Drum n’ Bass, Glitch Hop, Moombahton and House.

Over the years, they have received mentorship from luminous music gurus like iLL.Gates, KJ Sawka and Vespers. Under previous aliases, they have supported acts like Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, and Porter
Robinson. You can expect upcoming genre-bending releases on Impossible Records. The Plurthlings’ debut song, ‘Face Melt’, will blast dance floors in 2017 via Muti Music’s “The Class of 808” compilation.

The Plurthlings are bringing the fun back to dance music. Monsoon & Kahu strive to ‘be the change’ they wish to see in the world. This holds true, whether they are in the studio, or on the stage. The basis of everything they do centers around the balance of this concept. Their daily life reinforces Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, Truth and Harmony.
