The Surfin' Llamas

The Surfin’ Llamas are a 5-piece band based in and around Derbyshire. Known for high energy exuberance on stage, the band play authentic soul, funk, ska, rock ‘n’ roll and reggae and guarantee to provide a vibrant, energetic, jaw-dropping performance that results in audiences skanking & dancing throughout the performance!

The band play cover versions of some amazing music from the last five decades with their own twist. The line-up includes sax, keyboards, guitar, drums and bass creating a fabulous full sound.

The band are available for gigs and functions in Derbyshire, Staffordshire & the Midlands area and beyond.

Highlights so far have been playing at Silverstone Woodlands at both the F1 and MotoGP events in 2018 & asked to headline in 2019. We’re also dead chuffed to be playing in Fuerteventura in September 2019, International Surfin’ Llamas in the sunshine.


The band members are all experienced and have been involved various other projects such as The Ant Hill Mob, The Mobsters, Mrs. Miggins’ Pie Shoppe, Front Page, Split Sofa, The Acemen, Function Factor, Deja Vu, Rockaholic and many other fantastic projects. Jacy the sax player has played with some household names including Dr. Feelgood and Eddie & The Hot Rods.
