DJ Markoshi Biography

Meet DJ Markoshi. Born and raised in Calgary, AB Canada, he is definitely one of the most versatile DJs out there. Getting his first pair of turntables at the mere age of 14, he discovered a whole new world of music that was booming across Western Canada, house music. With watching shows on Much Music like Electric Circus, Markoshi wanted to be the one to get the crowd rocking. Markoshi first started buying house records at local record shops, and started building his collection from there. Since then, he has evolved into other genres such as hip hop, garage, disco/funk, old school gems and even dubstep. He can cater to all types of party goers.
Sharing the with great acts like World Famous Dubstep Dancer Marquese Scott, performing at Playboy TV events, and even sharing events with UFC fighters.
With over 15+ years of DJing experience, Markoshi has it covered. He has the ability to spark up nostalgia with music selection. He is definitely one of the most entertaining DJs to see live.
