Bo and the Locomotive Biography
Bo and the Locomotive is the musical project of Bo Bulawsky - a songwriter, producer, and performer based in St. Louis, MO, USA. The son of Larry and Lisa, two respected artists in their own right, Bo is currently preparing to release his third full-length record, titled Everything Was Wild, on October 9th, 2020.
Since 2011, Bo has been a staple in the St. Louis music scene - touring the midwest and playing with just about every band that came through town. His work won him the #1 spot on Paste Magazine's Missouri bands to watch, as well as features in Vice, Complex, Daytrotter, St. Louis Public Radio, KDHX, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Riverfront Times, and many more.
After 5 years, 20 tours, 2.5 lineup changes, and over $100 made, Bo is back with his best work yet on Everything Was Wild. Reflective of the current state of the USA, he deconstructs his thoughts on toxic masculinity, white privilege, and love in 2020 on this self-produced, self-recorded effort. Operating as both a band and a solo project over the years has helped shape the sound of these songs, which evoke a feeling of nostalgia and fondness for days past.
He has been working on this record on and off for 3 years, and can't wait to share it with you.
