Listening to DSGNS, it may prove difficult to define the band with any one genre. In a "paint by numbers" world, DSGNS was conceived with the ideology that music shouldn't always be predictable. Building on an omnibus of influences from Cave In to Deftones to Botch, DSGNS focuses on creating intricate and intelligent songs that urge listeners to think for themselves.

Each song pushes and pulls the listener into a soundscape of propulsive drums, thunderous bass lines, eviscerating guitars and frenzied vocals. DSGNS eschews genre conventions in favor of creative, monolithic songwriting.
