Here’s Why...

- Kasey has played just about every gig of note in his home country of Australia before making the decision to move over to Europe in 2004 and continue his journey all over the world.

- This all began after being noticed by John Digweed after he toured Australia in 1996 and Kasey played a warm up set for him. It was after this that he was asked to play at John’s very own Bedrock night at Heaven in London. It was this night which was one of the main launchpads for Kasey’s international career back in 2001 and the catalyst for his decision to move abroad. The rest is history....

- He is the founder of 3 record labels - Vapour Recordings / eVapour8 / Lo-Fi-45

- In 1997 he launched Vapour Recordings and the label has almost 150 releases.

- In 2004 Kasey started eVapour8 and the first release was number 1 on the Beatport Techno charts for 8 weeks and number 1 on the main charts for a month! The track in question was by Ido Ophir & Miki Litvak - Shnorkel.

- After moving back to Australia in 2013 and taking a break, Kasey started Lo-Fi-45. The ethos behind this label was purely dedicated to sourcing up and coming talent from Australia who maybe weren’t the finished article, helping them out in the studio and giving them a platform to release on worldwide.

- After a 4 year break from running Vapour Recordings the label is currently going through a rebranding phase and will be back in operation in 2019. A new website is currently being developed and an overall shake up is happening behind the scenes in preparation for a full assault mid 2019. Watch this space....

- Kasey’s Vapourized podcast originally on Proton radio will also be back in 2019 running monthly with new mixes from Kasey’s shows, along with top local and international guest mixes each month.

- This leads us to our final point, Kasey is now back in the studio and will be unleashing everything he's been working on over the past few months around mid 2019.
