The barefoot diva’s significant repertoire and the joy she felt in sharing the stage are among the subli-me arguments favoring the creation of the Spirit of Cesaria project.
The project will have as its foundation the Cesaria Evora Orchestra, made up primarily of musi-cians who accompanied the artist over the last ten years of her brilliant career.
In the project, allied with the musical harmoniousness that spread sounds of an incomparable standard on stages the world over, Cesária Évora’s repertoire, albeit drawn in new and different brushstrokes, will take on form in the sweet, nostalgic voice of Nancy Vieira, or be fleshed out in the husky, bluesy voice of Jenifer Soledade.
The resulting atmosphere will cradle the senses in a nostalgic caress.

O significativo repertório da diva e a alegria da partilha de palco, são sublimes argumentos para a criação do projeto “Spirit of CESARIA”.
Como base, o grupo “Cesaria Evora Orchestra”, composto na sua maioria por músicos que acompanharam a artista nos últimos 10 anos de brilhante carreira.
Neste projeto, por entre a coesão musical que espalhou uma sonoridade de tão elevado padrão pelos palcos do mundo, o repertório de CIZE ainda que desenhado por outros gestos, ganha forma na voz doce e nostálgica de Nancy Vieira ou deixa-se invadir pela voz rouca em tom de blues de Jenifer Soledade.
A atmosfera assim criada acalentará os sentidos no afago da saudade.
