Born in the 2003, from a project by Manuel Volpe and Giuseppe Cardamone, at the very beginning Duality were a classic death metal oriented band, extremely influenced by historycal American technical death acts like Atheist, Cynic and Death. Under these influences, in the late 2005 the band published the first EP titled “Dual Aggression Seed”. After the first EP the band turned into a more personal sound including even more jazz influenced stuffs and various contamination, from hardcore to classic music. In the early 2011, after many changes of the line up since the very beginning, the band published his second EP of five songs, moving from classic death metal to other sounds defined by the band Avant Metal, focusing on even more original and personal stuffs. Ideati nel 2003 da un’idea di Manuel Volpe e Giuseppe Cardamone, i Duality iniziano come una classica band death metal, pesantemente influenzati dai combo storici del filone americano del death metal tecnico come Atheist, Cynic e Death. Sotto queste influenze la band pubblica il primo EP titolato “Dual Aggression Seed” nel 2005. Dopo il primo EP, la band decide di evolvere il proprio sound verso qualcosa di più originale e personale, con sempre più consistenti influenze dal jazz all’hardcore ed alla musica classica. All’inizio del 2011, dopo diversi cambi di lineup, la band pubblica un secondo EP di cinque tracce, spostandosi dal death metal classico verso nuove sonorità definite dalla band Avant Metal, alla ricerca di un sound sempre più originale e personale.
