I didn't go but I watched on my tv. As a huge fontaines fan who is trying their best to go to a fontaines gig, that even on my telly was life changing, it felt like I was actually there! And the best part is, they sound the same from music videos to concerts! I love fontaines d.c. so much and I do my best to show my appreciation to them through Spotify as I'm a massive listener!

Fontaines put on such a great show! The Vogue is a great venue. You feel close to the stage but also not too claustrophobic. I have had a music hangover since the show in May, and I look forward to seeing Fontaines D.C. again next time they are near me. 10/10.

This was the third time in a few weeks I had seen the band (Finsbury Park and Luxembourg before). The concert in Bonn was fantastic (they all were).
Fontaines D.C. are simply the best band of their generation, without any doubt.
Waiting patiently on news of another tour!!

I’ve been following the band for a while and think they’re great, but this was the first time I saw them in a larger venue. Brings the expected setbacks, where you don’t really see much of the stage,, and so on, but that can’t be helped. I was a little taken aback by all the political activism that transpired in particular at the end of the show. Is there really anybody out there who believes that shouting “free Palestine” at a postpunk concert in West Berlin does anything at all, either for the population in Gaza or for ending the conflict more broadly? Let’s face it, it just makes the teens and twens at the event feel special and like they “belong”. I guess that’s worth something too.

My third time seeing them and my God they’re just always perfect. Grian’s voice is incredible. Didn’t like the venue though because of the steps and the elevation of the barrier, we were stumbling around while dancing, sound wasn’t great either. Next time hopefully they’ll play a different venue.

This was an amazing performance from all of the bands, all were great and curated brilliantly bringing up the energy through the day. The first 3 openers I wasn't really aware of but liked, its always good to discover new bands. Kneecap raised the energy levels and were electric to watch. I'm still skeptical as to how much they're Palestinian beliefs are genuine or a gimmick, but their energy and showmanship were unquestionable. Time will tell if this was a performance for the ages or they'll implode into a millie vanillie type sham. Amyl and the sniffers have no such questions to answer on authenticity. They were punk personified and yet still have an endearing personality that connects with the audience. My only criticism is the lead singers vocal range is a little one note, yet she makes up for that with her charisma. As for Fontaines, they're growing before our eyes. They finally looked like a stadium ready rock band, largely due to the frontman looking more relaxed and engaging with the crowd. He looked a true rock star and held the crowd in his hand. The set itself did suffer from a lack of energy in the middle that was a little lengthy and lost the vibe a little. Arctic Monkeys did this when touring their 3rd album, it seems both bands were going through a transitional period where their sound evolves. Having Kneecap and Amyl build up energy which Fontaines matched for three songs, only to then go into stadium rock was disappointing. However they soon recovered and the rest of the set was electric. The break for an encore- honestly, we know you are coming back so quit with the encore gimmick artists!- was poignant because of the political message, but a little clichéd. The crowd knew they were returning so instead of feavoured chanting, they just stood about a bit. More lost momentum. That said, the last three songs were banging. Yet I still think 'Favourite' should be the closer. People were hugging each other- and strangers! A rocking protest concert!

Wow, what a fantastic performance by Fontaines DC! They may have started a little slow, but they really picked up steam and kept getting better with every song. It's always such a joy to see them live. Kudos to Release Athens for organising such a smooth event, though I wish they had given us a bit more time at the end instead of rushing us out. Overall, a memorable night!

The band's performance was stellar; the only hiccup was the hour or so wait while the stage techs fixed some broken equipment between the openers and main act playing. Seems like a mishap like that should have been caught well before the concert even started.

I have been listening to this band for months and could not get tickets the last time they played. They did not disappoint. The crowd was really into them and the band played their asses off! So happy I got to see them at a small venue before they play arenas.

This was a great show! This band did not disappoint, and the opening act Jadu Heart was impressive. The venue was clean, well-organized, with great staff. The sound was good.
I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great night of live music.

Fontaines put on a great show - played more than 20 songs. Doubt there will be many more opportunities to see them in a venue that only seats 2000 people. Lots of guitar - very rock and roll! All the ones you've heard plus some others I need to hear more of.
Jadu Heart was a nice surprise opening up also. Lots of range with strong female and male vocals. More guitar and the heaviest base I think I've ever heard.

Fontaines D.C. are riding the high from their brilliant album, Romance. Their show at The Factory in Deep Ellum was excellent from start to finish. Though they cut two songs from prior setlists, it was still a relatively lengthy 14-song set followed by a 4-song encore. The wait between the closing song of the main set and the start of the encore seemed overly long, but very few of the audience members bailed out. The crowd was definitely into the band. Fontaines D.C. are in the middle of a grueling stretch of US tour dates, and it may be starting to take its toll. However, the band rose to occasion, and put on a memorable performance. The lighting effects were really good. The sound could have been a bit louder for the larger space.

I’ve been a fan of the Fontaines for about 3 years! The Romance album was on heavy rotation on my Spotify playlist. They just so happened to start their Canadian tour in Vancouver for my birthday! Could not have been a better night. Energy was amazing!

The venue was great, as were the band. Grian was incredible as well as the whole band. I had my ticket as a birthday present and happily would have paid hundreds to go to this event. My only regret is that I wasn’t able to get a standing ticket, as it was absolutely berserk in the standing area. But all in all, it was an amazing night out and an amazing concert. I will be going to the Manchester gig to see Fontaines and also KNEECAP, whom I also love.

Wow, what a night! The best gig I've ever been to. The whole place was bouncing. Grian doesn't say much to the crowd but he doesn't need to as the songs speak for themselves. Cannot wait to see them again in Cardiff Castle next year!

Honestly was really special to be there and listen to them live for the first. Honestly would recommend them to anyone who’s into rock/post-punk their discography is very diverse and unique plus the songs are overall class live and listening to them on a streaming platform/cd/vinyl

Great band, unfortunately another concert just way too loud. Sound quality was unbalanced and a lot of the melodious nature of their music was lost. Why?? Does anybody really like it so loud that you have permanent hearing loss? Fontaines, if you are reading this, get new sound engineers.

I was right up front next to the speaker. Vibrations and bursts of air were flowing through my body. What an epic show. They sounded better and more polished this time than when I saw them at the Gothic in Denver 2 years ago.

Been a fan for a while because of friends in Ireland and it was nice feeling like I was back. Everyone sitting around me never heard of Fontaines DC, but they all enjoyed it as much as I did. Definitely had to bring up the lyrics for “Boy in the Better Land” so the people around me could scream it with me. Please come back to the states!!!!!!!
