“REGGAE ON THE ROCKS” Having a diverse cultural background containing Aruban, Dutch, Surinam and Indian roots they are well rounded multi-cultural musicians, giving the music those extra spices you need to stir it up just right! Vince Irie who is the Lead Guitarist/Lead Vocals grew up on Aruba so was always in contact with the Reggae and Rock vibe on the Island. He was always and still is inspired by great bands such as Sublime, Nirvana, Bob Marley and many more! He knew exactly what he wanted to do with music so went of to Holland to start his dream! “THEIR MUSIC JUST MAKES YOU HAPPY INSTANTANEOUSLY” While studying music in Holland with Sharen Singh (Bass), they immediately started sharing their love for reggae music. Jamming together whenever they got the chance. Finally Vince got introduced to Guido Van de Wijdeven (Drums) and together they formed “OFFSHORE” Now existing for 3 years they have grown from three members to six. Daniel with his insane keyboard skills joined the crew, so did Vincent's long time friend Aymar on guitar. And to add a bit more flavor to their sound Simon joined with his Saxophone making their trademark mixes even fatter! You can't compare their music with any other band out there. They have a very unique style and you will feel their music straight away! All of them are well rounded musicians, all studying music and having their own distinct background. A lot of people have said that their live act is even more powerful than their CD so don't hesitate to check them out when they're in town! “THEY WILL ROCK YOUR SOCKS OFF” They have been spotted at great venue's and festivals all over Holland and have toured in Aruba and England. Playing at De Melkweg, Zwarte Cross 2011, Hard Rock Cafe Aruba, Caribbean Sea Jazz Festival Aruba 2010, Brouhaha Festival UK 2010, Moomba Beach Aruba, MadNes Festival 2010, Sugar Factory, KlompPop, Babypop, Busters Garage, Arubadag, Parr Street Studios, Watt, Patronaat, Timoektoe, Supermarkt, Exit, Paard van troje and many more.. They also managed to win Dunya on Tour by beating 50 other acts and eventually played on Dunya festival Rotterdam 2009. Last summer they toured in England and Aruba! They released their debut album “Challenge My Nature” in July 2009.
