Best known for his touring and recording work with platinum-certified group Surfaces, Michael Incavo’s smooth jazz and R&B influences shape his approach to keyboards and sax.

When not on the road or in studio, Michael is a regular duo performer at premier venues in The Woodlands, TX. He also frequently plays hotels, restaurants, bistros, bars, lounges and houses of worship across Texas.

Michael is a lifelong musician from Cleveland, OH and The Woodlands, TX. After studying at the University of North Texas, Michael transferred to Baylor where he has studied under Alex Parker, Michael Jacobson, Scott McAllister and Rob Karns. Before coming to Baylor, Michael developed classical musicianship through the Suzuki method and eventually transitioned his focus to jazz through study with teachers from Eastman, Ohio State and the Manhattan School of Music. Since then, his performances and compositions have been licensed around the world, he teaches and performs weekly in the Waco and The Woodlands/Houston areas, and he is a proud member of Baylor’s jazz ensemble and combo.

Michael has performed at venues such as: Baylor’s Albritton House, Ferrell Center, Waco Hall, Jones Hall, Bill Daniel Student Center and Barfield Drawing Room: hotels such as the Market Street Hyatt Centric in The Woodlands, TX: convention centers and restaurants in Waco, Houston, and Cleveland: and in bands for acts like American Idol contestants and Baylor’s Sing production.

Michael has been honored and deeply grateful to be surrounded by accomplished peers, warmhearted friends and first-rate educators as a member of the Baylor Saxophone Studio and the College of Music.
