Mike Mass, born Michael O’ Halloran, in the Bronx, New York, is a rapper and producer who calls the Tampa Bay area home; and his fondness for Tampa Bay’s arts and culture scene, one that he helped cultivate, can’t be overstated. Mass is credited with helping to usher in a new wave of opportunities for the hip hop community through his work with event curation in and out of the state. As a solo artist, Mike has performed across the country from New York to Los Angeles, and back again, making audiences fall in love with his signature cadence and ability to rock a crowd. Notable collaborations include Apathy and Grammy Award winner Skylar Grey. Also a prominent producer, he's worked with Grammy nominee Joyner Lucas and continues to spread his boombap sound to indie artists all over the world.
