Kris grew up on a farm in Florida making up songs with her sister in their treehouse.

In 2019, kris toured in all 50 states in less than 5 months while writing and recording an album that debuted at #1 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart and as the highest ranked indie release on the Billboard Top Current Albums chart. The title track was featured on Netflix’s “Atypical”

She has performed at Folk Alliance International and Life is Beautiful Festival, as well as in the UK and Europe as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Songs & Whispers Tour. 

She is a Voting Member of the Recording Academy has sung on two Grammy Nominated albums, and was selected for the Grammy NEXT program.

“The Skies We Look To” came out April 30th, 2021 at #1 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart and “I’d Give Anything” was featured in American Songwriter, landed on New Music Nashville, Next From Nashville, and Indigo Official Spotify playlists, charted for 15 weeks on Americana radio, and was featured in RollingStone magazine. “My Quiet”, another song from the album, was a winner in the International Songwriting Competition.

Kris’s latest record, “Damn Shame Waste” came out Sept 9th, 2022. “Run” and “Win the Game” from that album were the #1 and #3 most played new adds on SiriusXM’s The Loft as well as being featured on iHeartRadio in the wake of her being the top fundraising artist ever for MusicBeats Cancer.

She signed with Blue Elan Records early in 2024 and released her lasted full-length album “Le Sigh” in Oct 2025 which debuted at #1 on the iTunes sing-songwriter chart. It also landed Kris as a Finalist in the International Singer Songwriters Association Awards for Female Album of the Year and Female Songwriter of the Year.

Kris is currently splitting time between touring in the US and tapping into the music scene in Japan where her fiancé is stationed with the Navy.
