Perfect night. Fantastic set. Excellent support bands, Loose Content & Curlers. Great venue.

Fantastic energy brought by the entire band. I hadn't caught Magic Dirt live for ~18 years, so it was pretty neat to bathe in the heavy riffs and catch some of their new/er stuff live. Very enjoyable to watch the new-to-me bassist & drummer join Adalita & Raul in having a good time on stage and absolutely rocking out. I enjoyed the bass players energy so much, that I think I've developed a "thing" for the hairstyle - accompanied by that rock-out energy.. "Watch out boys"! Also my first time at The Gov, which was a great venue with solid dinner/pre-gig-energy-loading choices plus the staff kept the tea/coffee machine/s pumping for me throughout the gig - I operate on sugar and caffeine so this was much appreciated. The venue allowed for a good range of viewing/listening/sitting/standing points & floor surfaces - my pogo-ing/flailing/moshing legs/ankles appreciated the smooth flooring sections.
