I stumbled onto Amy several years ago, which launched an ongoing search for the lesser known (forgive me Amy, I should say "lesser known to me" 🤓) Americana singer/songwriters. Since I can't even clap in time in the midst of an evangelical praise worship service, I certainly don't have the vocabulary to describe just how unusual, pleasing, and entertaining I found the entire experience. Suffice it to say, I may not know "music," but I know what I "like"! And I like Amy's songwriting, bass playing, voice, side players, wicked humor, and style. So much so, that I'm headed to 30a tomorrow morning. I'll close with a 🐔buuhck, buuhck🐸readit, readit.

Will and Amy were superb last night. What a vibe they put out there. Had the whole place in another world. Can’t wait for next time!

Show was fantastic... Cafe Instanbul a very cool venue and of course Amy mesmerized the crowd with her silky Sade like movements coupled with funky baselines and cheeky verses. A rare talent that flies just under the radar. A voice like a complex bourbon. Velvety innocent childlike tones with hints of wisdom and sage pitch that makes the microphone stretch to her instead of the other way around. First class.
