Congratulations, 40 yrs of Pixies!! One of my most favorite bands, from the age of 16 I got really preoccupied with 'alternative' music.. and nowadays I play their records on vinyl! Besides a great talented singer/ songwriter, Black Francis is also a great visual artist, Joey Santiago an excellent musician and I like musicians discovered by Pixies.. Unfortunately I couldn't buy tickets for the shows in Netherlands, by announcement all shows were sold out!! My love affection to you all and your music will last another 40 years!! The show was amazeballs. I recently relocated to the Sydney area from Seattle. Thank you for brining a taste of home to this crazy journey!! This is my 4th time seeing you, one of my ALL TIME favorite bands. And this was your best show yet. And Emma Richardson ****you are incredible**** I have re-started a record collection starting with Bossa Novo and Tromp le Monde. Thank you for that. Truly yours, the happiest girl in the whole wide world. ;)

What’s there to say? It was THE PERFECT SET. They played all the classics including new songs from their latest album. Emma Richardson is hands down without question the best thing that’s happened to the band in decades. She plays with a sincerity that’s beyond worthy of the highest praise. Her vocals were what I call “Pixies” vocals. Black, Joey and David were great as usual; but I really think our new Pixies bass player is the best thing to happen to us fans since Kim 1.

My 26th time seeing the Pixies since 1990 and fourth time in past two weeks. This show was slightly unusual in that Charles repeatedly spoke to the audience, which I had never seen before. He spoke about Bossanova and Trompe being artifacts of the era where the sun was starting to fade on college radio. It was also weird that they played an encore song (Debaser), which rarely happens. Even though they were playing in their former home town, the band didn’t seem as tight as they did when I saw them in Montreal earlier in the month. They had to stop and restart one song. MGM Fenway is an excellent venue and I hope to come back sometime.

What a night, what a performance from the masters.! My first time seeing them after being a fan since ‘88 and they sounded great. Thinking back, it was odd that they didn’t speak to the crowd once, but instead they stood there and smashed out hit after hit for a couple of hours . No complaints here. Loved that the crowd was such a mix of people and generations, and in typical London fashion, the pit was real 😁

It has been many years since I saw the Pixies touring Surfer Rosa in 1988, but the power was still there the catalogue obviously burgeoning with more quality and tonight didn't fail to excite and make for a spectacular event for all in attendance, over the 28 songs played with 4 from the newest album released it was a great blend of sing along to shouting in unison. I loved every minute of it.

Finally was able to see The Pixies live after all these years! I've seen Frank Black a couple of times and will see him again in February 2025, and I've seen The Breeders. But I've always been too late to get tickets to The Pixies, so this was a real treat!!! This was a big festival on the banks of the Seine river in Paris. They played many hits from Doolittle. Now I'm super happy, and tame!

Besides the extreme heat this show was what the kids say “off the chain!” Cat Power & Modest Mouse sounded great, although you could tell they were hot and tired, I don’t blame them though. The Pixies blew my mind, they exceeded my expectations. I knew they were going to be good, but I didn’t expect them to be THAT good! Black’s voice is INSANE, so EFFORTLESS!! Starlight is always a great choice when it comes to live music, the staff is friendly and it’s just a great atmosphere. Thanks for the great time. See ya again!

Absolutely fantastic show. Pixies were as awesome as always. My two favourite albums so I was definitely in my element. First time at the Kentish Town O2 and I can honestly say it's the best O2 venue I've been to. Staff were really professional and friendly, the man who was arranging the accessible queue at the front was one of the best members of staff I've come across in nearly 40 years of going to gigs. It was a trek to come here from Birmingham but most definitely worth it.

Cat Power, Pixies, and Modest Mouse all put on one amazing show. Their song choices for their set-list and the performance itself, made it a show that I’m glad I can say I attended. Cat Power’s live performance highlighted her strong, yet gentle, and beautiful singing voice. Pixies are legends and know how to put on a show and the live version of the songs were better than hearing a studio recorded version. The same goes for Modest Mouse. I was so blown away by their performance, I will be sure to catch Modest Mouse anytime they’re in Portland. Seriously, the show was that good.

We went to see the Pixies with Modest Mouse at Edgefield in Troutdale. We were there to see the Pixies. The show started with Cat Power. Oh, that voice! Great arrangements, cool style and we were blown away! Next up we’re the Pixies. They started at 60mph and just cranked out a mind blowing show 80 minute show! Crowd at the front was crazy fun, people were nice to each other and everyone had a blast. “Life changing”, “bad as***” and “can you believe it” were some of the comments we overheard. A quick set change and out came Modest Mouse — not to disappoint — they also started at 60mph and just continued to crank it up! Music was awesome! Energy was off the charts! I have been averaging 2 shows a week all summer and I think was the show of the summer. If you do t have tickets, see if you can get your hands on some. You will thank me later!

Nonstop performance the whole time they were on stage. Band was great and it was awesome to hear them live. No real interaction with the audience. Hated the venue (we paid for seats; general admission people kept coming up and standing in the aisle right next to us, talking and blocking our the walkway, and security/staff kept ignoring it including one employee who talked and joked with the GA folks the whole time).

Just a trip troughtout everys passiones lived in my life. From my early age on rock - punck rock - the Base They Made for the Misic coming After and YEEEAAAHHH 2 Hours No Stop of Energic Pleasure and Wet really Wet dancing singing and crazy reaction We Really Need in an Historical Concert. GREAT ATMOSPHERE CREATED AND .... I was really happy to the exchange with my "neighbours" really FUNS and make My "ITALIAN" Shiting guy for let move away the NOT sane Peoples in the night.

INCRÍVEL! Sem dúvida inesquecível, fui com a minha mãe que é fã dês da adolescência dela e passou o gosto para mim, o que apenas prova que é uma banda intemporal. Dês do vocalista que brinca com a voz de uma maneira surreal, a Paz Lenchantin que é a maior baixista de todos os membros, baterista e guitarrista de tirar o fôlego. Acho que todos os fãs de Pixies deviam ter a experiência. E respondendo a dúvida que possivelmente têm, a banda não apenas apresentou o maravilhoso novo álbum como grandes sucessos do passado inclusive o hit "where is my mind".

Pixies and DR Koncerthuset was an excellent match. It was more than two hours of nonstop feeding us with the best rock of more than three decades. The sound and the sight in the hall was of an absolute quality making it one of the best live expreriences I've had throught the last 45 years by the stages. My son had his first live concert with me and this will stick with him as a really great memory for the rest of his life for sure.

Sound was great! First time seeing the Pixies and they played a ton of songs without a break for two hours straight. Thought it was weird that they didn't address the crowd at all, not even saying goodnight. Soma needs to elevate their floor if they're going to pack the amount of people in that room they did last night. Couldn't see half the show with everyone at the same level. Either way it was still amazing to see the legendary Pixies who were perfect and on point the whole show!

Nice and all but they didn't play any song from indie Cindy. Also we need to say that the beginning of the concert was pretty boring and Paz lechantin had a "dead woman" behavior, she was like a stone. The end of the concert was better and I had a lot of fun but I'm not sure if I'm gonna see them again, the quality of the new songs it's really low if you compare them with Doolittle, and that lack of quality is almost touchable and that bothers me.

Joined by the worlds largest Pixies Facebook group 60 of us hit the front of the stage Black Francis seemed like he had a fire lit under him as he screamed louder than the past few show I’d seen a few months prior. Pixies last night of the tour and giving 150%. Best live set of the tour so far. 2018 impresses big time.
