The band started as an idea between founding members Andrew Bassett (guitar) and Isaiah Walker (drums) to create heavy music that was tastefully done. Through a few months of jamming alone together, they picked up Andrew Patterson to front the band and record the Demo (2013) not after long, Ben Berger worked his way into playing bass for the band. Jump forward a few months, Ben had left to go back to live in Vermont and Christian Becker joined to fill the spot as rhythm guitarist and Quante Tell helped fill the vocal area.
