Lycanthia first grew to popularity after the release of their first full length album 'Myriad' and continued this success with the momentous 'Within The Walls', which saw them peak at #11 on Australian radio station Triple j's Australian Metal Chart within the first week of release. Their success continued to grow with regular radio airplay and live performances alongside national and international acts. In 2012 Lycanthia first released their latest album 'Oligarchy', in which they have sculpted their reactions to existence and the world into a musical expression of hardh, bleak reality. The album shows that as a band they have developed their musical style with greater maturity, creativity and originality. 'Oligarchy' received rave reviews in the media and was quickly picked up by 'Green Media (MGM)' in Australia, and was re-released by North American record label 'Hypnotic Dirge Records' in April, in digipak format. Lycanthia are currently touring in support of the release, along-side national and international acts.
