Matt Quinn

If you're a Mt. Joy fan or not this was a show to remember. 9 years after the Surf Lodge invited a small relatively unknown band to their Montauk stage, lead singer Matt Quinn returns to ignite the crowd of locals and super fans from near and far. The set contained tunes from their hits to new music to a few covers, including a first for Matt, Cheeseburger in Paradise, perhaps in homage to the late great Jimmy Buffet who was a long time east ender himself. The intimate setting let Matt give us insight into some tunes and how they came to him including Bathroom Light and Jenny Jenkins. As he started wrapping it up with the one two punch of Asto and Silver, he just wasn't done even though you could tell that was the end of his setlist. Matt did a quick 180 before leaving the stage and finished with Dirty Love which sent everyone over the top. The crowd showed him much love and you could tell he was touched. Don't wait too long to come back again!!
