Too Different was founded by two friends, Mike van der Vaart and Eric Pinas .
They took the name 'Too Different' because of their different origins and influences.

In 2002 they formed a rock / rap band together with Hielke Bruil (bass) and Floris de Vreede(drums) Mike was on guitar / vocals and Eric on Rap vocals. With this they became the winner of the bandcontest Grand Prix of Voorne -Putten in 2003 , with performances at TexMex spijkenisse , Spykepop 2003 and Wallenpop Hellevoetsluis.

There were extensions of studio , additions of family and and the rise of Eric's sports gym (which he is founder of); that was the time that it went quiet around the band.....

But in 2012 came the first new demos,on the Internet, which Eric and Mike recorded at home. these did very well internationally . Their demo's are worldwide played on various internet radio stations, and on many musicwebsites(like reverbnation,MyownMusic.de, Songdew.com,Muslate.com) these demos came with 4 demo's at the same time in the top 10 of these sites, many times.

Too Different is a independent band ( Indie band)
They record and release their music themselves, also produce/edit their video's

In 2012/2013 Mike and Eric started looking for new bandmember to bring the band back to life.
After some in and outs from various members, the band finally was born with the orginal members Hielke and Floris.

in 2015 they recorded their debut Ep containing 7 tracks.They chose Hans Pieters ( from The People's choice, but before he was a steady studio engineer at the Excess studios Rotterdam) to mix and master their album Rebirth.

Rebirth was released on june 26th on iTunes,Spotify,Deezer, amazon, Google play, and many big stores/streaming sites.
On November 6, they released the first Music video "Ride On"

Their music is described as catchy oldskool Rock in combination with Rap.
