Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee The Sidewayz is project name of indie hip hop artist Havier Green. Formed in 2010, after Havier decided to drop out of college and pursue his passion for songwriting, visual artistry, and performance. Though influenced by artists from every genre, especially rock and roll, the Green uses the style, lyricism and production of rap to capture his own experience in Urban America. Hailing from Memphis, a city located in the dead-center of the US and world renowned as The Birthplace of Rock and Roll and Home of The Blues, Havier believes that rebellion and isolation are the two key ingredients when trying to make powerful art.
