LYR have never, and I doubt they will ever disappoint. Whatever else is happening in my life, it is all suspended for the time I spend with these guys on stage. I'm happy, moved, affected, elated, I smile, laugh, and I ache from the whole experience. In a good way! They are three very, very special individuals who, together, are more than the sum of their parts. I wish I didn't have to use a cliche like that, but I can't think of a better way of saying it. Simon, Richard, Patrick, I am so pleased I found you in Eldon Street. My life is better with you in it, wherever I see you, but it's an added treat to discover special venues like City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds. What a unique place!
