So I missed the first band. Sorry guys. But the next three openers just kept bringing it. Then when D.R.I. jumped on stage, they did what they always have done for the past 40 years. They f*****g brought down the house. It was my first concert, since breaking my foot in an Agnostic Front pit, in which I could get my 57 year old a*s back in the pit. It was so great to be back. Thank you Reggie’s and mor importantly the 5 bands( although I only saw 4) for an incredible night! That’s my Belligerent buddy in the pic. Not me

I heard D.R.I. for the first time growing up in Los Angeles in 1983. I got to see them live 6 times from '85 until '93. D.R.I. was just as good, if not better, than they were back then. Haltom Theater reminded me of my old haunts, the Country Club in Reseda, The Waters Club in San Pedro, and others (a bit smaller, if i remember correctly, than Fenders in Long Beach. Tickets were $20.00 for 7 Bands. The show began at 6PM and D.R.I. completed their set around 1:20AM. I purchased a soda and a couple of bottles of water for me and my son, for $9.00. D.R.I. is traveling with Scattered Guts from Arizona (It was great talking with Ruben Muñoz) and they brought five other local DFW Bands, I particularly liked Scattered Guts and Gammacide, but Arkhon, War Hog, Chemicaust, Skull Archer, and Towerhigh were all fun to watch. Kurt Brecht work D.R.I.'s merch table for more than 5 hours before he led D.R.I. in more than 90 minutes of what my son called, "the time of my life." When they finally left the stage, he returned to the merchant table until the venue cleared out. I am 55 and I doubt I would have that energy. Spike and the rest of the band absolutely kicked b**t. If you get a chance to see D.R.I., do it. They are amazing and how they help local bands gain exposure in every city they visit is incredible. Thank you Haltom Theater, thank you TLP promoters and, most of all, thank you D.R.I.

D.R.I. never fails to deliver a great show. I mean, it's not technical thrash —it's crossover, meaning it's pretty simple, musically-speaking, but that's also what makes it great. And while age has really strained most vocal cord sets of many of metal’s music pioneers, you could close your eyes at a D.R.I. show and think it was 1985, not 2025.

Great show! I, unfortunately, haven’t been around to see DRI for way too many years. They were as intense, powerful, and tight as they were in the mid ‘80’s. Maybe even tighter now. Gonna make sure I’m in town for each show from here on out. Sorry I was absent for so long

DRI was GREAT! one of the best shows i’ve been to in a while. one of my all time favorite bands and got to meet one of my thrash metal heroes , Spike Cassidy! all in all a fantastic show!

Quite possibly the loudest show I’ve ever been to. That’s not a complaint, just an observation. This band has been around for a long time and they know how to play their songs. Despite a couple issues with sound, they sounded amazing. The other bands (4 of them total), ranging from punk to metal, set a great tone for the night. By the time DRI took the stage, the audience was primed and ready. Not a single person was disappointed.

This is my 3rd time catching D.R.I and every time they put on one of the most fun shows I’ve ever been to. Kurt Brecht is always handling the merch table and he’s a really cool guy to talk to. These guys get the crowd f*****g going, and the community behind them are some of the most welcoming and friendly people I’ve gotten to meet.

D.R.I. is as tight and thrashing as they were in ‘87. Kurt still sounds the same after all these years. Supporting acts were excellent. Deathwish has a Motörhead vibe, but heavy and nasty as hell. Venue was tight and intimate. I was stunned how well the sound was mixed and just loud enough to make the experience everything you would want in a thrash show. Circle pits were civil and fun and as usual in the metal/thrash/punk community, everyone took care of each other and acted like family. I had no problem with my two sons jumping in the pit and having a blast. I will admit, they are both giants over 260lbs each, but nobody wants to see some a*****e punch their kid in the face. None of that here, just loud fast and thrashing fun. IN THE PIT!!!!

I haven't seen this band like in 27 years or more. At the old Joe's garage in ft worth. But they still have the thrash and proved it. A very good show for a reasonable price. Thanx for the memories D.R.I!!

This was a pretty rad show. I always expect the best from DRI and this was no different. The venue was quite spacious and there was. Decent turn out. With it being an all ages show there were quite a few youngsters and their parents. Glad to see a younger crowd enjoy the old school thrash/ Crossover. Only thing that sucked about the younger crowd is that they were too small to catch anyone stage diving.

Ok so I’m bias… it’s only because they kept their signature style and sound just like they did 40 years ago. They did not disappoint! Lots of die-hard fans but some younger ones too—which means their style reaches across all ages.

DRI is like a fine wine and get better with age. Been listening to DRI since the mid 80's and they still amazing. It was nice to bring my kid to the show who is also a fan. The fans at this show ranged from about 10 to 70. It was a diverse group and a great vibe. The band sounded great and put on an amazing show for the fans.

Even after 40 years the guys have still got it. Didn't miss a beat. To bad the sound quality was poor but that's more due to the acoustics of the Black Sheet building. First opening act sucked. Second band was good.cant remember there name so they weren't memorable.

I was into this band 30 years ago and finally got to see them live and I be damned if they weren’t totally spot on with their records of the past. Best time I’ve had in a while. Thanks for coming!

Awesome show....Took my 11y.o. son & he was in awe...He was going off on the outside of the pit... The pit was an old school punk/h******e one...I had to show him that this old guy can still get crazy in the pit...I appreciate this being an all ages show, so he can enjoy some thrash...

It was kickass! Mosh pit was one the best parts there I’m filled with bruises but worth it, my first time seeing D.R.I. if you are looking to thrash at a gig this is the one! Will see them again!
