Thalab is a duo/band from Barcelona, now based in London. Max (20) and Oscar (19) are two cousins who share blood, man-love and musical taste. Starting out experimenting with electronics and organic sounds as young teenagers, recording mostly in a country house by the Catalonian coast, the two combined a range of influences including artists such as Mount Kimbie, Metronomy, David August, Devendra Banhart, and stretching out to Pink Floyd, Dylan and Latin music.

Loyal to a DIY approach,Thalab have always been bedroom producers. With Max being the electronic lab madman and main producer, and Oscar on lead vocal, lyrics and guitar, the two are multi instrumentalists, with an all-hands-on-deck approach to songwriting and producing, with no fixed roles or limitations.

The duo have gradually crafted their own sound, intentionally hard to classify – with labels flying somewhere between Experimental Electronica and Psychedellic Honey-Pop.
