One of the first US dubstep ambassadors, Los Angeles producer/DJ 12th Planet has remained a leading pioneer in the global electronic music scene and a definitive voice in the American EDM/dubstep explosion for more than a decade.

Debuting in 2006, 12th Planet broke out with his early releases, including his 2009 '68' EP and 'Smokescreen' EP. In 2011, he co-wrote/co-produced “Right on Time,” off Skrillex’s GRAMMY-winning ‘Bangarang’ EP. His seminal 2012 two-part ‘The End Is Near!’ EP and ‘The End’ EP included collaborations with Skrillex & Kill the Noise and others.

In the 2000s, 12th Planet, alongside cofounder Drew Best, solidified L.A. and the US as leading players in the worldwide dubstep scene via his influential SMOG Records and SMOG events, which hosted icons like Benga and Caspa and released music by MUST DIE!, Flinch and others. In 2016, SMOG celebrated its 10-year anniversary.

In 2017, 12th Planet joined forces with leading bass label Disciple to launch Disciple Round Table, a sublabel specializing in dubstep, riddim and bass. He’s released several singles and EPs on Disciple, including the 'Swamplex Terrestrial' EP and the coinciding ‘Swamplex Extra-Terrestrial’ EP. In 2018, he launched his Sirius XM 'Swamplex Radio' show.

12th Planet is a dominating force in the US and international festival/club markets. He’s performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas and Ultra Music Festival, in addition to sold-out headlining tours across N. America, Europe, Australia and Asia.
