Arborist

Belfast native Mark McCambridge set the tone for things to come with his debut single under the name ARBORIST - an astonishing duet with none other than Kim Deal of The Breeders and Pixies. A run of impressive live performances lead to support slots with the likes of Cat Power, Bonnie Prince Billy, Low and Echo & The Bunnymen. He has released 3 albums of "devastatingly bleak… upliftingly beautiful" (★★★★ MOJO) Americana-tinged songs, including his last offering - recorded by Matthew E White at Spacebomb Studio in Virginia - which won the prestigious Northern Ireland Music Prize in 2023 alongside a blistering BBC 6 Music Live Session with Riley & Coe. The 4th Arborist LP is due for release on 16th October through London label Fika Recordings.
