Andy again (but after 23 years and 5 months) + E. Fraser (my teen idol) for the first time, well, it made me scream like an excitable teen. My message to MA and their PR peeps: please come back next year (and every year after that) and bring the whole ensemble with you. Persuade Tricky to come and be the third cherry on top! P.S. A friend of a friend described the concert as the best protest he ever attended:))

Elizabeth was amazing on a nother level ! Just breathtakingly fantastic ! I have to admit she was the only reason I went there in the first place! In my opinion, the show was too political. We all know what’s going on in the world and when I go out for a night to have fun at a concert, I don’t need to see all of that and especially that f*****g idiot Donald Trump all the time on the big screen. But anyhow Elizabeth Fraser you are one of a kind ! Cocteau Twins for EVER 🫶🏻 5 ⭐️4Liz

The show was tremendous, but there were many times when the sound had problems and was totally interrupted for a couple of seconds. Understandable and acceptable for one, two or three times, but not for around eight times. That is not ok. Sorry, guys, try to be even more professional with that aspect.

It was massive and typical for Massive Attack, they played a lot of the old stuff, it realy touched me. Its always fantastic to see those guys live also the warm up nand was amazing. A beautiful location and very well organized, thank you !

Getting to the venue by bus was not so easy, as there was a ten minute walk from the bust stop to the venue and once inside, another long walk to the correct entrance. As there was no information about the support band or set times, I mossed the start of the support, 47 Soul. They were okay, but as three women to my right shrieked and cackled to each other all the way through as if they were in a pub, not a concert hall, the performance was marred. Just before Massive Attack came on, a lady came on stage to tell us about Greta Thunberg sailing to support Palestine. Massive Attack started at about 9pm with a video on the whole of the large screen behind them. Most of the time, this was what I was looking at as although I had a clear view of the stage, I was so far away that the band were just tiny specs. The screens on either side of the main one showed close-ups of band members now and again, notably the wonderful vocalists. The sound system and light shows were excellent, as were the videos about the various forms of madness that are occurring around the world at present. So, the Ukraine war, mining in the DRC, the destruction of Palestine, and the constant babble of the media about mostly petty issues. So, most of the music was as doom laden as the videos, not that that was a bad thing. There were some more up-beat compositions, but it wasn't a concert for getting up and dancing. The third from last song, their classic "Teardrop" was met by cheers from the audience and was beautifully presented, accompanied by an ethereal lightshow. The last two pieces, Levels and Group 4, contrasted by being much more up-beat and brough the concert to a fitting climax. Just a final note about the behaviour of some of the people at the concert. It's not okay during the concert to stand at the front of the balcony, in front of people in seats, to take selfies and pose for photos with the band behind you. Also, don't chatter at length while the band is playing!

Great venue with fantastic sound. Massive Attack were brilliant as anticipated and it was great that Horace Andy and Liz Frazer were actually there on stage singing the hits. Enjoyed every minute of the gig.

Phenominal sound & classics from M.A - but massively too politically charged messaging. Its not like we don't get bombarded enough by news (fake or truth) so NGL getting it at a gig is a step too far guys !! So its 8 on 10 from me

I've waited 30 years to see Massive Attack and it was worth it. I was treated to an audio visual experience like no other. Part concert and part visual graphics and information on the screens. Guest artists such as Liz Fraser and Horace Andy excelled. The concert was to celebrate Liverpool as a UN Accelerator City status. My only critique was the vendors in the venue. They were serving drinks in single use plastic cups, which defeats the whole object of the Accelerator Status. I played my part by travelling by train from Merseyside. Well Done Massive Attack. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic show with unexpected special guests! The Young Fathers together with them was perfect (only seem that live once before) Took days to get my feet back on the ground :)

Great music by one of my top 10 favorite bands of all time. However, having to wait a whole hour without any sort of announcement or explanation was a bit much. Luckily, hearing Mezzanine performed live was worth the wait.

FOH sound mix was not very good, vocals got lost. The whole gig was a little bland and didn’t pack as much punch as previous Massive Attack gigs. Nice version of Bauhaus’ “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” though!

Far from the best MA concert, I had the privilege of seeing, specially in the 90’s, as it was short, sound was not good, and voices were very low (this problem was slightly corrected for the last songs), but the Elizabeth Fraser and Horace Andy were brilliant as always, and the video too, and it made all better in the end.

Se presentaron acompañados de 2 guitarras, bajo y batería, que se emplearon a fondo en las fantásticas versiones de Bauhaus ( Bela Lugosi's Dead), The Cure (saturday night), Velvet Underground (I found a reason) y Ultravox (Rockwork). Detrás, en la pantalla se proyectaban imágenes de hace 20 años, con mensajes sobre la realidad sociopolítica que hemos vivido desde entonces. Impresionantes.

A very good concert, but with issues. Maybe I had pretty high expectations. Visuals were good, but not amazing, sound was not adecuate for the place. Too many people smoking and chatting in the crowd, considering it is a close arena. In other hand, setlist had variety in addition of Mezzanine songs. Performing was pretty good. Good iniciative in addapting visual contents in catalan.
