Renowned Producer, Composer, and Brooklyn native FS (Fred Sargolini) began playing piano and guitar, and DJ'ing at age 10. His fascination for electronics and music began while constructing his first home-built mixer out of an Atari, spare circuitry and a few switches. True to his signature sound, FS delivers electro-glitch-ridden and intricately woven, bass-driven production, exemplified in recent chart topping hits including his Touch O Klass EP, with both “Yup” & “Touch O Klass” hitting #1 on Beatport's Top 100 Dubstep chart. Other hits include “Bass Monster” charting at #2, and “Dub Combination” at #1 for Beatport's Top 100 Glitch Hop, among other countless collaborations and remixes. Notably, Spin Magazine named “Bass Monster” one of the Top 10 North American Crucial Dubstep songs, and “To The Sky” from album Half Android was featured by Nike Lookbook & Lenovo campaigns. His new album, Half Android, is an exploration between man and machine and pushes the sonic boundaries and intricacies of dub step and bass music. His process: half programming and half deconstructed, self-sampled, live instruments. A constant struggle between musician and robot, Half Android reveals the dichotomy between the architecture of creating music, and the human experience of interfacing with the world through technology. Masterfully crafted and defying expectations, his unique vision is joined by guests Rahzel (The Roots), Calvertron (Rottun, Jack Knife), Reid Speed (Play Me Records), and Napoleon Solo (ISWHAT?!, Patriarch Recordings). FS has toured the world playing festivals such as Coachella, Mount Fuji Rock, World Sound Fest, Audiotistic, Sundance Film Festival, and more.
